Certified SAP Fax - Empire Messaging

Our SAP Certified Fax messaging service allows you to send faxes directly from your SAP system without fax infrastructure, changes to your system and without installing additional SAP software or plug-in. Our cost per page model will enable you to send orders, confirmations and other documents quickly and cost effectively.

How it works
The connection to your SAP system utilizes RFC. A permanently available Fax service (as ‘function call’) that is registered within your SAP system, and the interval of transmissions can be set up (for example every 2 minutes). As soon as there are fax requests ready to be processed, the ‘function call’ is activated, and the faxes are sent. Faxes transmitted securely over a TCP/IP-interface to our datacenters. We then process the fax requests and send them, according to the SAP priorities or within the highest system priority. The delivery status for each fax record, including its document ID is immediately reported back to your SAP system.

Activation requires two Steps:

The set-up of a secure IP connection – most customers utilize a VPN connection over the Internet
Configuration of this connection – This data will contain the IP address of the SAP Gateway, the SAP system name including client indication, as well as, all relevant access data for the integration of the systems.
